The healthy plate is divided into 5 different parts these are Fruit and Vegetables, breads and cerals, milk and dairy foods, meat, fish and alternatives and food which contain fat or and sugar. Each section of the plate is a different size this shows us that we need to eat more of the foods from the big section of the plate and less foods from the little sections on the plate. This plate can be used to help us when choosing what foods we should eat so that we make sure we eat a balanced diet of foods.
